# 6. WHY $GRIT IS SO VALUABLE

Global Resource and Revenue Index Token ($GRIT) is the bitcoin of the COA ecosystem. $GRIT is a fixed supply, deflationary, manipulation and whale resistant, store-of-value token designed to enable VMCCs to preserve and grow their wealth over a long period of time.
